Diving in Iceland
A diving tour in Iceland not to be missed if you are a diver! A relaxing but exotic trip in an environment most will only encounter in their dreams. Silfra is rated as one of the world's top dive sites, it offers up to 100 meters of underwater visibility and is located right where the tectonic plates of Europe and America meet! You are literally diving between continents.
We pick you up at your hotel in Reykjavik and drive for about 45 minutes to Thingvellir National Park. If you are into history and geology, this is a shrine for you, as Thingvellir is not only famous for the split of the continents; it is also where our ancient parliament was held. Your guide will happily point out some interesting and fun facts about Thingvellir and the area around it.
On your dive you will explore the two continental plates in the crystal clear, blue water. After the first dive we climb out for an hour break and warm up with some hot chocolate and cookies before diving in again for more amazing sights.
This tour gives you the relaxing unique experience of an underwater environment not to be found anywhere else and it combines perfectly with the golden circle sightseeing tour to make more out of your day, add this to your backpack and talk to us to find out more!
You need a PADI license (or the equivalent) for the diving.
